Phaeton - Stroyservice, Ltd (FSS) is a specialized construction company within the structure of PHAETON Holding Company. In 1995 a special division was set up within the holding to build own gas stations. In March 2000 this division was reorganized as Phaeton - Stroyservice Construction Company.
Today FSS unites several construction companies. The Company’s major specialization is to provide a full range of engineering services and build gas stations. On this sector of the market in St. Petersburg FSS holds a share of over 50%. Over the years the Company launched over 200 fuel sector facilities, including Faeton" gas stations – one of the largest gas station chains in St. Petersburg. FSS is a permanent partner of a number of well-known fuel companies in the city, such as KirishiAvtoService, TNK-BP, and EcoGasService, serving as general contractor, designer and builder of gas stations.
FSS designs and implements investment projects in construction, provides engineering services, designs and builds public and residential buildings, industrial facilities and other constructions, trade centers, hi-tech multi-functional gas stations, which include technical service centers, carwashes, convenience stores and cafes. The Company is present on the market of St. Petersburg, in Leningrad Region and Krasnodar Krai, where the Company is currently building a large trade center.
Over the last three years the Company demonstrated excellent growth, increasing its revenue by 9 times. In 2007 the revenue amounted to RUR 1,400,000, and 32 buildings for various purposes were completed. In the next three years FSS intends to continue developing rapidly, and by 2010 the revenue is expected to reach the figure of RUR 8.5 bln, while profitability will remain at its present level.
According to the development strategy through 2020, FSS plans to become a leader of the comprehensive engineering market in St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region, as well as in other constituent regions of Russia. The following new directions will be added to current business activities of the Company: engineering services, low-rise construction, energy facilities, road building and infrastructure and manufacture of construction materials. In order to optimize the enterprise structure and its management, FSS will be reorganized as a construction corporation. By 2020 the value of the company will reach RUR 5 bln.
