Northwestern Peat Company, Ltd (NWPC) was founded in 1999 after a merger of several long-standing peat producing enterprises of the Northwestern Region: Agrotorf, Tesovo and Zaplyusskoe, each of which goes back as far as the 19th century. Today NWPC is a dynamic part of PHAETON Holding Company.
NWPC prospects peat at large peat depositories in Northwestern Russia. The total stock of peat exceeds 50 mln tons. The quality of the peat is recognized for its unique characteristics not only in Russia, but abroad as well.
The Company works continuously on new types of products, through efforts of its own staff and research teams from various research institutes. NWPC products are known in over 40 Russian regions, other CIS countries, and abroad. The Company’s largest dealerships are located in Moscow, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Vladivostok, Krasnodar, Novosibirsk, Saratov, Kaliningrad, Volgograd, Archangelsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Monchegorsk (Murmansk Region), Belgorod, Voronezh, Minsk (Belarus), Zaporozhye (Ukraine), Vilnius (Lithuania), Riga (Latvia), and Kazakhstan.
NWPC is a member of the Russian Greenhouse Association, and the Inter-Regional Gardener Union. The Company’s permanent partners include over 300 companies and business entities, including electrical plants, gardens and parks, Alexandrovsky Park, St. Petersburg Tercentennial Park, Tavrichesky Park, Konstantinovsky Palace and private gardening and landscaping businesses.
The Company participates in Flowers Exhibition, Agrorus Exhibition, Gardener Exhibition, Farmer Exhibition and others. Ecological safety of the product has been confirmed by independent Russian and international experts, and certified by the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of Natural Resources and the State Standard of the Russian Federation, as well as by a world-famous RHP Company (The Netherlands).
Today the Company’s products are manufactured under two famous brand names: Narodnyi Grunt (People’s Soil) and Skoraya Pomosch (Emergency Aid).
